Strategic Skills Program - Training for Job SeekersThe Strategic Skills Program (SSP) is funded by DET NSW to address the strategic skill needs of industry, the community and individuals. Training is purchased mostly for part-qualifications which support employment opportunities for jobseekers. Full qualifications are funded under special circumstances. Australian Apprenticeship Access ProgramThe Australian Apprenticeships Access Program (the Access Program) provides job seekers who experience barriers to skilled employment, with pre-vocational training, support and assistance to obtain and maintain an Australian Apprenticeship. DEEWR Innovation Fund ProjectThe Innovation Fund is a component of the Australian Governments national employment services. It is designed to address the needs of the most disadvantaged job seekers through funding projects that will foster innovative solutions to overcome barriers to employment which they may face. Innovation Fund projects also contribute to the achievement of the Australian Government’s Social Inclusion Agenda by supporting innovative strategies to help the most disadvantaged job seekers find and retain employment.
