Trainer / Business Development - Retail Management & Business
Job Description
Work Savvy Training & Auswide Projects are seeking a qualified trainer to promote, coordinate and deliver Diploma courses in the following areas
- Diploma in Business
- Diploma in Retail Management
- Diploma in Management
The role involves generating enrolments into these courses through a variety of business development and marketing strategies. The successful applicant will need to be confident in their ability to sell training places to employers and promote training to potential students. The training involved is funded under the Productivity Places Program for existing workers.
The role also involves the co-ordination of students enrolled in the above programs, and the delivery of much of the training. Training may include on-the-job assessments, RPL, supported distance education and classroom delivery.
Role based in Penrith but will require travel across the Sydney Metro area.
Criteria
- A recognised qualification in Management or Business or Retail Management.
- Applicants with extensive demonstrated experience within Management (particularly Retail Management) may be considered (we have an excellent RPL program to qualify those with sufficient and demonstratable industry experience)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to enrol and complete ASAP)
- Own transport
- Ability to work independently and at different locations when required
Conditions
- Full-time role
- $48,000 (+Super) base plus very generous incentive program (OTE $65,000+)
